Hadith 5653
٥٦٥٣ - حدثنا حفص عن ليث عن مجاهد قال: اختلف رجل إلى ابن عباس ⦗١٨٨⦘ شهرا (يسأله عن رجل) (١) يقوم الليل ويصوم النهار ولا يشهد جماعة ولا جمعة قال: في النار (٢).
Hazrat Mujahid states that a man kept asking Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) for a month: A man spends the whole night in prayer and fasts during the day, but he does not participate in Friday (prayer) and congregation, so what is his ruling? Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied that he is of the people of Hell.
