Is it permissible to converse while official letters are being read on Friday?
Hadith 5396
٥٣٩٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن (الربيع) (١) عن الحسن قال: كان يكره الكلام والصحف تقرأ. وقال الحسن: كانت الصحف تقرأ قبل الصلاة.
Hasan says that it is disliked to talk while official letters are being read. Hasan says that official letters used to be read before the prayer.
