ما جاء في الرجل يسبح ويذكر الله (و) الإمام يخطبIs it permissible to recite tasbih or remember Allah during the khutbah?
Hadith 5388
٥٣٨٨ - حدثنا محمد بن أبي عدي عن ابن عون قال: سألت محمدا عن الرجل يكون يوم الجمعة بعيدا من الإمام لا يسمع صوته يقرأ في أذن صاحبه قال: لا أعلم على الرجل بأسا أن يذكر اللَّه في نفسه.
Ibn Aun says that I asked Muhammad, if a person is so far from the imam that he cannot hear the imam's voice, can he recite into the ear of the person sitting next to him? He replied that I do not see any harm in a person remembering Allah during that time.
