Hadith 5319
٥٣١٩ - حدثنا حفص عن ابن جريج عن عطاء قال: كان النبي ﷺ يخطب فقال للناس: "اجْلِسُوا" فسمعه عبد اللَّه بن مسعود وهو على الباب فجلس فقال له: "يا عبد اللَّه (ادْخُلْ) (١) " (٢).
Hazrat Ata narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering a sermon to the people when he said, "Sit down." Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) was at the door; when he heard this, he sat down right there. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "O Abdullah! Come inside."
