Hadith 5297
٥٢٩٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن حماد عن إبراهيم قال: سئل عبد اللَّه عن الخطبة يوم الجمعة فقرأ: ﴿وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا﴾ (١). حدثنا وكيع عن أبي سنان عن عمرو بن مرة قال: سألت أبا عبيدة عن الخطبة (يوم الجمعة) (٢) فقرأ: ﴿وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا﴾.
Ibrahim narrates that Abdullah was asked about the manner of the Friday sermon, so he recited this verse of the Holy Qur'an { وَتَرَکُوک قَائِمًا } meaning: they leave you standing as you are.
