Hadith 5283
٥٢٨٣ - حدثنا ابن نمير قال حدثنا سفيان عن توبة عن الشعبي قال: كان شريح إذا أتى الجمعة فإن لم يكن خرج الإمام صلى ركعتين وإن كان خرج جلس واحتبى واستقبل الإمام فلم يلتفت يمينا ولا شمالا.
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that Hazrat Shurayh would arrive on Friday; if the Imam had not yet come, he would perform two rak'ahs, and if the Imam had arrived, he would sit down, clasp his hands around his knees, and sit facing the Imam in such a manner that he would not turn to the right or left at all.
