Hadith 5109
٥١٠٩ - حدثنا زيد بن الحباب قال أخبرني مالك بن أنس عن الزهري قال أخبرني ابن (سباق) (١) أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال في جمعة من الجمع: "إن هذا يومُ عيدٍ فاغْتَسِلُوا وَمَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَه طِيبٌ فلَا يَضُرُّهُ أنْ يَمَسَّ مِنْهُ وعَلَيْكُمْ بالسِّوَاكِ" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Sabaq that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said in a Friday sermon: "This is the day of Eid, so perform ghusl (ritual bath) on this day. Whoever has perfume, there is no harm for him in applying it. It is obligatory upon you to use the miswak (tooth-stick)."
