Hadith 469
٤٦٩ - حدثنا محمد الصمد بن عبد الوارث عن جرير بن حازم عن حماد قال: سئل عن الماء القليل الذي لا يبلغ الطهور؟ فقال: الصعيد أحب إليَّ منه.
Hazrat Hammad was asked about performing ablution with such a small amount of water that it would not suffice for ablution, so he replied, "Soil is more beloved to me than that."
