الإمام يقرأ (بسورة) فيها سجدة فلا يسجدIf the Imam Recites a Surah with an Ayah of Prostration but Does Not Prostrate, What Should the Follower Do?
Hadith 4459
٤٤٥٩ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن (سعد) (١) بن إبراهيم أنه سمع (عبد الرحمن) (٢) الأعرج يقول: كان أبو هريرة يسجد في ﴿إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ﴾، فإذا قرئت وكان خلف الإمام فلما يسجد الإمام (قال) (٣): فيومئ برأسه أبو هريرة (٤).
Hazrat Abdur Rahman A'raj says that Hazrat Abu Hurairah used to perform sajdah (prostration) in Surah Al-Inshiqaq. If he was praying behind someone and the imam, while reciting Surah Al-Inshiqaq, did not perform sajdah, then Hazrat Abu Hurairah would lower his head and indicate (the sajdah) by gesture.
