Hadith 44
٤٤ - حدثنا يحيى بن أبي بكير قال: نا زهير بن محمد عن عبد اللَّه بن محمد بن عقيل عن سعيد بن المسيب عن أبي سعيد أنه سمع رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "ألا أدلكم على شيء يكفر اللَّه به الخطايا، ويزيد به فى الحسنات؟ " قالوا: بلى يا رسول اللَّه. قال: "إسباغ الوضوء على (المكاره) (١) وكثرة الخطا إلى هذه المساجد" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked the companions: "Shall I not tell you something by which Allah forgives sins and increases good deeds?" It was requested, "Please do tell us." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Performing ablution thoroughly in difficult times and taking more steps towards the mosque."
