Hadith 4251
٤٢٥١ - حدثنا هشيم وعلي بن مسهر وابن فضيل عن داود عن الشعبي قال: كانوا يكرهون اختصار السجود وكانوا يكرهون إذا أتوا على السجدة أن يجاوزوها حتى يسجدوا.
Hazrat Sha'bi says that the predecessors considered it undesirable to skip the verse of prostration in order to avoid prostration. And they also considered it undesirable to recite any verse of prostration and then pass by without performing the prostration.
