Hadith 4140
٤١٤٠ - حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن إبراهيم قال: كانوا يكرهون أن (يقوم) (١) الرجل إذا قال المؤذن: قد قامت الصلاة وليس عندهم الإمام، وكانوا يكرهون أن ينتظروا الإمام قياما، وكان يقال: هو السمود.
Ibrahim says that the predecessors considered it disliked that when the muezzin says "Qad qamatis salah," people stand up in the absence of the imam and wait for the imam while standing. And it was said that standing in this manner is the standing of heedlessness.
