٤٠٦٣٩ - قال: قال (عمر) (١) بن قيس: فحدثنا رجل من حضرموت يقال له: أبو قيس، قال: لا نادى قنبر: من عرف شيئا فليأخذه، مر رجل على (قدر لنا) (٢) ونحن نطبخ فيها فأخذها، (فقلنا) (٣): دعها حتى ينضج ما فيها، قال: فضربها برجله ثم أخذها (٤).
40639 - He said: Umar ibn Qais said: A man from Hadramawt told us, called Abu Qais, who said: Qanbar called out: Whoever recognizes something, let him take it. A man passed by a (pot of ours) while we were cooking in it, and he took it. (We said): Leave it until what is in it is cooked. He struck it with his foot, then took it.
