Hadith 40627
٤٠٦٢٧ - حدثنا المحاربي عن ليث عن مجاهد أن محمد بن أبي بكر أو محمد بن طلحة قال لعائشة يوم الجمل: يا أم المؤمنين! ما تأمريني؟ قالت: يا بني! إن استطعت أن تكون كالخيِّرِ من ابني آدم فافعل (١).
It is narrated from Mujahid that either Muhammad bin Abi Bakrah or Muhammad bin Talhah asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "O Mother of the Believers! What do you command me?" Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) replied, "If you are able, then be like the better of the two sons of Adam (Habil and Qabil), that is, like Habil (do not raise the sword)."
