Hadith 40621
٤٠٦٢١ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن الجريري عن أبي العلاء قال: لما أصيب زيد بن (صوحان) (١) يوم الجمل قال: هذا الذي حدثني خليلي سلمان الفارسي: إنما يهلك هذه الأمة نقضها عهودها (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Alaa who says that on the day of the Battle of Jamal, when Zaid bin Suhan was afflicted with calamity, he said: "This is exactly what my friend Salman Farsi had informed me about, that this Ummah will be destroyed due to breaking its covenants and promises."
