ما ذكر في عثمان ﵁On the Mention of Uthman (رضی اللہ عنہ)
Hadith 40515
٤٠٥١٥ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين قال: (حدثنا) (١) سعيد بن عبد الرحمن قال: (حدثنا) (٢) محمد بن سيرين قال: لما قتل عثمان قال عدي بن حاتم: لا (تنتطح) (٣) فيها (عنزان) (٤) فلما كان يوم صفين فقئت عينه فقيل: لا (تنتطح) (٥) في قتل عثمان ⦗٤٤٥⦘ (عنزان) (٦)، قال: بلى، وتفقأ فيه عيون كثيرة (٧).
It is narrated from Ibn Sirin, he says: When Hazrat Uthman was called a martyr, Adi bin Hatim said that there was no difference of opinion in this matter. Then, on the day of the Battle of Siffin, when his eye was lost, it was said that there was no difference of opinion in the killing of Hazrat Uthman. Hazrat Adi bin Hatim said: Why not, in that too many eyes were lost.
