ما ذكر في عثمان ﵁On the Mention of Uthman (رضی اللہ عنہ)
Hadith 40461
٤٠٤٦١ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن حجاج الصواف عن حميد بن هلال عن يعلى ابن الوليد عن جندب الخير قال: أتينا حذيفة حين (سار) (١) المصريون إلى عثمان فقلنا: إن هؤلاء قد ساروا إلى هذا الرجل فما تقول؟ قال: يقتلونه -واللَّه-؛ قال: قلنا: (أين) (٢) هو؟ قال: (في) (٣) الجنة واللَّه؛ قال: قلنا: فأين قتلته؟ قال: في النار واللَّه (٤).
It is narrated from Jundub Khair that he said: We were present in the service of Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) when the Egyptians had gone towards Hazrat Uthman. We submitted, "These people have gone to that person (Hazrat Uthman); what is your opinion about this?" He replied, "By Allah, they will kill him." We again asked, "What will be the matter of Hazrat Uthman in the Hereafter?" He replied, "He will go to Paradise, by Allah." Then we asked, "And his killers?" He replied, "By Allah, they will go to Hell."
