ما ذكر في عثمان ﵁On the Mention of Uthman (رضی اللہ عنہ)
Hadith 40451
٤٠٤٥١ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل عن قيس قال: حدثني أبو سهلة أن عثمان قال يوم الدار: إن رسول اللَّه ﷺ عهد إلي عهدًا فأنا صابر عليه، قال (قيس) (١): فكانوا يرون أنه (ذاك) (٢) اليوم (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sahla that on the day of the siege of the house, Hazrat Uthman said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had advised me and I will remain steadfast upon it. The narrator said that the people thought that this was that very day.
