Hadith 39874
٣٩٨٧٤ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن ليث عن (زياد) (١) بن أبي (المليح) (٢) عن أبيه عن ابن عباس قال: لو أن الناس (اجتمعوا) (٣) على قتل عثمان (لرجموا) (٤) بالحجارة كما رجم قوم لوط (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that he said: If all the people had gathered together for the killing of Hazrat Uthman, then all the people would have been stoned to death, just as the people of Lot were stoned.
