Hadith 39802
٣٩٨٠٢ - حدثنا حفص عن جعفر عن أبيه قال: لم يؤم على النبي ﷺ إمام وكانوا يدخلون أفواجا يصلون (١) ويخرجون (٢).
Hazrat Ja'far narrates from his father that no imam led the funeral prayer of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Rather, people would enter (the chamber) in groups, offer the funeral prayer over the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and then leave.
