Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Jubair bin Nafeer says, when the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) were deeply grieved over those who were martyred with Hazrat Zaid in the Battle of Mu'tah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surely, some people from this Ummah will meet the Messiah. And those people will be better than you or like you." He said this three times. "And Allah Almighty will not destroy such a nation whose beginning is with me and whose end is with the Messiah."
