Hadith 39659
٣٩٦٥٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: (أخبرنا) (١) هشام عن ابن سيرين عن أنس ابن مالك قال: لما كان يوم خيبر ذبح الناس الحمر فأغلوا بها القدور، فأمر رسول اللَّه ﷺ أبا طلحة فنادى: إن اللَّه (ورسوله) (٢) (ينهيانكم) (٣) عن لحوم الحمر الأهلية فإنها رجس، فكفئت القدور (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of Khaybar, people slaughtered donkeys and were boiling them in pots when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Abu Talha, and he made an announcement: "Indeed, Allah and His Messenger have forbidden you from eating the meat of domesticated donkeys, for they are impure." So (upon hearing this) the pots were overturned.
