Hadith 39615
٣٩٦١٥ - حدثنا يونس بن محمد قال: حدثنا مُجمّع بن يعقوب قال: حدثني أبي عن عمه عبد الرحمن بن يزيد عن مجمع بن (جارية) (١) قال: شهدت الحديبية مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ، فلما انصرفنا عنها إذا الناس يوجفون الأباعر، فقال بعض الناس لبعض: ما للناس؟ فقالوا: أوحي إلى رسول اللَّه ﷺ، قال: فخرجنا نوجف مع الناس حتى وجدنا رسول اللَّه ﷺ (٢) واقفا عند كُرَاع الغميم، فلما اجتمع إليه بعض ما يريد من الناس قرأ عليهم: ﴿إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُبِينًا﴾ فقال رجل من أصحابه: يا رسول اللَّه أو فتح هو؟ قال: " (أي) (٣) والذي نفسي بيده، (إنه) (٤) لفتح"، قال: فقسمت على أهل الحديبية على ثمانية عشر سهما، وكان الجيش ألفا ⦗٥٢٥⦘ وخمسمائة ثلاثمائة فارس فكان للفارس سهمان (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Majma’ bin Jariyah that I was with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at Hudaybiyyah. So when we returned from Hudaybiyyah, the people began to drive their camels at a fast pace. Then some companions asked others, “What has happened to the people?” They replied, “Revelation has descended upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).” The narrator says: Then we too, along with the people, hurried our mounts until we found the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) standing by a mountain called Kara’ Ghamim. So when the desired people had gathered near him, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: {إنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَک فَتْحًا مُبِینًا } One of the companions of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) submitted, “O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Is this victory?” The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Yes! By Him in Whose hand is my soul, indeed this is victory.” The narrator says: Thus, this victory was distributed among the people of Hudaybiyyah in eighteen shares. The army numbered fifteen hundred, and three hundred among them were horsemen, and each horseman received two shares.
