Hadith 39450
٣٩٤٥٠ - حدثنا أبو معاوية قال: حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي إسحاق عن زيد بن يثيع قال: كان أبو بكر مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ يوم بدر على (العريش) (١)، قال: فجعل النبي ﵊ (٢) يدعو يقول: "اللهم انصر هذه العصابة فإنك إن لم تفعل لم تعبد في الأرض"، فقال أبو بكر: (٣) بعض مناشدتك ربك فواللَّه لينجزن (لك) (٤) الذي وعدك (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Yathi’ that on the day of Badr, Hazrat Abu Bakr was with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a shelter. The narrator says: The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to supplicate and said: “O Allah! Help this group. If You do not help, then Your worship will not be performed on the earth.” Hazrat Abu Bakr submitted: These are your supplications with your Lord. By Allah! Allah Almighty will surely fulfill the promise made to you.
