Hadith 39378
٣٩٣٧٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن نافع بن عمر عن رجل عن أبي بكر أنهما لما انتهيا (إلى الغار) (١) قال: إذا (جحر) (٢) قال: فألقمه أبو بكر (٣) رجله فقال: يا رسول اللَّه إن كانت لدغة أو لسعة كانت بي (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Bakr that when both of them (the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Bakr) reached the cave, he says: There were holes there. The narrator says: Hazrat Abu Bakr inserted his heel into that hole and said: O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him! If there is anything that bites or stings, it will reach me.
