حديث المعراج حين أسري بالنبي ﷺHadiths About the Mi'raj and the Night Journey (Isra')
Hadith 39337
٣٩٣٣٧ - حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن أبي إسحاق الشيباني عن عبد اللَّه بن شداد قال: لما أسري بالنبي ﷺ أتي بدابة فوق الحمار (و) (١) دون البغل، يضع (حافره) (٢) ⦗٣٧٨⦘ عند منتهى طرفه، يقال له: براق، فمر رسول اللَّه ﷺ بعير للمشركين فَنَفَرَتْ فقالوا: يا هؤلاء ما هذا؟ قالوا: ما نرى شيئا ما هذه إلا ريح، حتى (أتى) (٣) بيت المقدس فأتي بإناءين في واحد خمر وفي الآخر لبن، فأخذ النبي ﷺ اللبن فقال له (جبريل) (٤): هديت وهديت أمتك-، ثم (سار) (٥) إلى (مصر) (٦) (٧).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Shaddad that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken on the Night Journey, an animal was brought to him that was bigger than a donkey and smaller than a mule. It would place its hoof at the farthest point of its sight. It was called Buraq. So, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a caravan of the polytheists’ camels, and they became startled. The polytheists said, “O people! What is this?” They replied, “We do not see anything. It is just the wind.” Until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem). Two vessels were brought to him, one containing wine and the other containing milk. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took the vessel of milk, so Jibreel said to him, “You have been guided to the right path, and your Ummah has been rightly guided.” Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) proceeded towards the city.
