Hadith 39172
٣٩١٧٢ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن داود عن الشعبي قال: كان آل سعد وآل عبد اللَّه يسلمون في ركعتي الوتر، ويوترون بركعة.
It is narrated from Hazrat Sha'bi that the family of Sa'd and the family of Abdullah used to say salam after two rak'ahs of Witr, and would make it Witr by performing one rak'ah.
