Hadith 38988
٣٨٩٨٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسرائيل عن عبد الكريم عن قيس بن (حبتر) (١) عن ابن عباس عن النبي ﷺ قال: "ثمن الكلب ومهر البغي وثمن الخمر حرام" (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The price of a dog, the dowry of a prostitute, and the price of wine are forbidden. And it is mentioned about (Imam) Abu Hanifa that he permitted the price of a dog.
