Hadith 38981
٣٨٩٨١ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن عاصم الأحول قال: سألت أنس بن مالك أحرم النبي ﷺ المدينة؟ قال: نعم، هي حرام حرمها اللَّه ورسوله: "لا يختلى خلاها فمن فعل ذلك فعليه لعنة اللَّه والملائكة والناس أجمعين" (١).
Hazrat Asim Ahwal narrates that I asked Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): Did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) declare Madinah as a sanctuary (Haram)? He replied: Yes! It is a sanctuary; Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) have made it sacred. Its grass (too) shall not be cut. Whoever does so (cuts the grass), upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people.
