Hadith 38873
٣٨٨٧٣ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن عبيد اللَّه عن ابن عباس أن سعد بن عبادة استفتى النبي ﷺ في نذر كان على أمه، وتوفيت قبل أن تقضيه فقال: "اقضه عنها" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sa’d bin Ubadah asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about a vow that was obligatory upon his mother, but she passed away before fulfilling it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fulfill that vow on her behalf.
