ما قالوا: في البكاء من خشية اللهOn Weeping from the Fear of Allah
Hadith 38458
٣٨٤٥٨ - حدثنا محمد بن عبد اللَّه الأسدي قال: حدثنا عبد العزيز بن أبي رواد أن أصحاب النبي ﷺ ظهر فيهم المزاح والضحك فأنزل اللَّه تعالى: ﴿أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ﴾ [الحديد: ١٦]، إلى آخر الآية (١).
Hazrat Abdul Aziz Abi Rawad (may Allah have mercy on him) says that when some jest and laughter began to appear in the habits of the Companions of the Prophet, Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: { أَلَمْ یَأْنِ لِلَّذِینَ آمَنُوا أَنْ تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُہُمْ لِذِکْرِ اللہِ } till the end of the verse. "Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah?"
