Hadith 38413
٣٨٤١٣ - حدثنا زيد بن (حباب) (١) (قال) (٢): حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن (سميط) (٣) عن بديل بن ميسرة العقيلي أو مطر الوراق أنه قال: من عرف ربه أحبه، ومن أبصر الدنيا زهد فيها، ولا يغفل (٤) المؤمن حتى يلهو، فإذا تفكر حزن.
Badeel bin Maisarah Aqili or Matar Al-Warraq, may Allah have mercy on him, says: Whoever recognizes his Lord begins to love Him, and whoever sees the world with the eye of the heart adopts abstinence from it. And a believer is not heedless as long as he does not engage in useless activities. When he reflects, he becomes sorrowful.
