Hadith 38408
٣٨٤٠٨ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير عن مالك بن مغول قال: قال رجل للشعبي: أفتنا أيها العالم، قال: العالم من يخاف اللَّه.
Hazrat Malik bin Mughul (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a man asked Sha'bi, "Tell us, who is a scholar?" He replied, "A scholar is the one who fears Allah."
