٣٨٤٠٠ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة قال: سمعت أبا معشر الذي يروي عن إبراهيم يحدث عن إبراهيم قال: ما من قرية إلا وفيها من يُدَفع عن أهلها به، وإني لأرجو أن يكون أبو (وائل) (١) منهم.
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that in every town there are such people because of whom the punishment is lifted from the inhabitants of that town, and I hope that Abu Wa'il is among them.
