ما قالوا: في البكاء من خشية اللهOn Weeping from the Fear of Allah
Hadith 38378
٣٨٣٧٨ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن أبي الأشهب عن الحسن قال: كان رجل يكثر غشيان باب (عمر) (١)، قال: فقال له عمر: اذهب فتعلم كتاب اللَّه ⦗٨٩⦘ (تعالى) (٢)، قال: فذهب الرجل ففقده عمر، ثم لقيه (لقاءة) (٣) فكأنه عاتبه فقال: وجدت في كتاب اللَّه ما أغناني عن باب (عمر) (٤) (٥).
Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man used to frequently come to the door of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). So Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him, "Go and learn the Book of Allah." Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the man went away and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) lost track of him. Then, once, that man met Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) began to scold him. The man replied, "I have found in the Book of Allah that which has made me independent of coming to the door of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)."
