ما قالوا: في البكاء من خشية اللهOn Weeping from the Fear of Allah
Hadith 38337
٣٨٣٣٧ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن إسماعيل عن عمارة بن القعقاع عن أبي (زرعة) (١) عن عمر بن الخطاب قال: (٢) أجود الناس من جاد على من (لا) (٣) يرجو ثوابه، وإن (أحلم) (٤) الناس من عفا بعد القدرة، وإن أبخل الناس الذي (يبخل) (٥) بالسلام، وإن أعجز الناس الذي يعجز في دعاء اللَّه (٦).
Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The most generous among people is the one who shows generosity to those from whom he does not expect any reward. And the most forbearing among people is the one who forgives despite having the power (to take revenge). And the most miserly among people is the one who is miserly even in greeting (saying Salam). And the most helpless among people is the one who is helpless even in supplicating to Allah.
