ما قالوا: في البكاء من خشية اللهOn Weeping from the Fear of Allah
Hadith 38313
٣٨٣١٣ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا المسعودي عن عون بن عبد اللَّه كان يقول: ألا إن الحلم والحياء (١) والعي - (عي) (٢) اللسان، لا عي القلب-، والفقه: من الإيمان، وهن مما يُنقصن من الدنيا ويزدن في الآخرة، [وما يزدن في الآخرة أكثر مما (ينقصن) (٣) من الدنيا إلا أن الفحش والبذاء (والجفاء) (٤) والبيان من النفاق، وهن مما يزدن في الدنيا، وينقصن (من) (٥) الآخرة] (٦)، (وما) (٧) ⦗٧٠⦘ (ينقصن) (٨) (من) (٩) الآخرة أكثر مما يزدن في الدنيا.
Hazrat Awn bin Abdullah says: Beware, forbearance, modesty, and humility of the tongue (not of the heart), and understanding of religion are parts of faith. And worldly things decrease (one’s share in) the world and increase (one’s share in) the Hereafter, and they do not decrease the world as much as they increase the Hereafter. Beware, shamelessness, obscene speech, and hypocrisy in speech—these things increase the world but decrease the Hereafter, and they do not increase the world as much as they decrease the Hereafter.
