Hadith 38254
٣٨٢٥٤ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة قال: حدثنا ثابت البناني عن صلة بن أشيم أنه قال: واللَّه ما أدري (بأي) (١) يوميّ أنا أشد فرحا: يوم أبا كر فيه إلى ذكر اللَّه (أو يوم) (٢) خرجت فيه لبعض حاجتي فعرض لي ذكر اللَّه.
Hazrat Sila bin Ashyam (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I do not know which of these two days brings me more happiness. One is the day when I begin my day with the remembrance of Allah, and the other is the day when I go out for some need of mine and I am confronted with the remembrance of Allah.
