Hadith 38221
٣٨٢٢١ - حدثنا ابن علية عن رجاء بن أبي سلمة قال: بلغني أن ابن محيريز دخل على رجل من البزازين فاشترى منه شيئًا فقال رجل للبزاز: أتدري من هذا؟ هذا ابن محيريز، فقام فقال: إنما جئنا نشتري بدراهمنا، ليس بديننا.
Hazrat Ibn Muhairiz once went to a cloth seller and bought something from him. Then a man said to the cloth seller, "Do you know who this is? This is Ibn Muhairiz." So the cloth seller stood up. Hazrat Ibn Muhairiz said, "We have come to buy in exchange for our dirhams, not to buy in exchange for our religion."
