٣٨٠٢٦ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة قال: أخبرنا عطاء بن السائب أن أبا (البختري) (١) وأصحابه كانوا إذا سمع أحدهم (يثني) (٢) عليه أو دخله عجب ثنى منكبيه وقال: خشعت للَّه.
Hazrat Ata bin Saib narrates that when Hazrat Abu’l-Bakhtari and his companions heard someone praising them or felt self-admiration, they would turn their shoulders and say: I humble myself before Allah.
