٣٧٩٧٢ - حدثنا قبيصة عن سفيان عن ليث عن طاوس قال: إذا تعلمت فتعلم لنفسك، فإن الناس قد ذهبت منهم الأمانة، قال: وكان (يعد) (١) الحديث حرفا حرفا.
It is narrated from Hazrat Tawoos that he said: When you acquire knowledge, acquire it for your own self. Because trustworthiness has vanished from among the people. The narrator says: They used to count the hadith letter by letter.
