Hadith 37899
٣٧٨٩٩ - حدثنا زيد بن حباب عن عبد اللَّه بن مروان قال: سمعت صالحا أبا (الخليل) (١) يقول في قوله: ﴿إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ﴾ [فاطر: ٢٨]، قال: أعلمهم به أشدهم خشية له.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Marwan that he says: I heard Abu Khalil Salih regarding the Divine command {إنَّمَا یَخْشَی اللَّہَ مِنْ عِبَادِہِ الْعُلَمَائُ }. He said: The greatest scholar of God is the one who fears Him the most.
