Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair that he says: On the Day of Resurrection, Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) will be told, "Enter Paradise through whichever of its gates you wish." The narrator says: Hazrat Ibrahim will say, "O my Lord! What about my father?" It will be said to Hazrat Ibrahim, "He is not among your companions." But when Hazrat Ibrahim insists on asking, he will be told, "Look at your father." The narrator says: When he looks, he will see that he has been turned into a badger. Upon this, Hazrat Ibrahim will say, "I have no need of him." Then his heart will become indifferent towards him. And Hazrat Ibrahim will be taken towards Paradise, and his father will be taken towards Hell.
