Hadith 37739
٣٧٧٣٩ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن مجاهد عن عبيد بن عمير قال: إن كان نوح ليلقاه الرجل من قومه فيخنقه حتى يخر مغشيا عليه، قال: فيفيق (حين يفيق) (١) وهو يقول: رب اغفر لقومي فإنهم لا يعلمون.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair that he says Hazrat Nuh had to deal with such a man from his people who strangled him. To the extent that he (Nuh) fell unconscious. The narrator says: Then when he regained consciousness, he was saying, "O my Lord! Forgive my people, for they do not know."
