٣٧٧٣٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عبد العزيز بن رفيع عن قيس بن سعد عن عبيد بن عمير قال: إن أهل القبور (ليتوكفون) (١) (للميت) (٢) كما يتلقى الراكب (يسألونه) (٣)، فإذا سألوه ما فعل فلان؟ ممن قد مات، فيقول: ألم يأتكم؟ فيقولون: ﴿إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ﴾ [البقرة: ١٥٦] ذهب به إلى أمه الهاوية.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair that he says: Indeed, the inhabitants of the graves also receive the deceased in the same way as a rider is received. They ask him questions. So when they ask him about someone, about any of those who have died, the deceased says: Has he not come to you? Upon this, they say: "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." He has been taken to his abode in Hawiyah.
