Hadith 37724
٣٧٧٢٤ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن عمرو عن عبيد بن عمير قال: إن أهل القبور (١) يتوقعون الأخبار، فإذا لم تأتهم قالوا: إنا للَّه وإنا إليه راجعون، سلك به غير (طريقنا) (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair that he says: Indeed, the inhabitants of the graves await news. Then, when no news reaches them, they say: "Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. They have set out on a path other than ours."
