٣٧٧١٩ - حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: حدثنا مسعر عن (أبي) (١) عون قال: كان أهل الخير إذا التقوا يوصي بعضهم بعضا بثلاث، وإذا غابوا كتب بعضهم إلى بعض: من عمل لآخرته كفاه اللَّه دنياه، ومن أصلح فيما بينه وبين اللَّه كفاه اللَّه ⦗٤٧٥⦘ الناس، ومن أصلح سريرته أصلح (اللَّه) (٢) علانيته.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Aun that he said: When the pious people used to meet each other, some of them would advise others with three things, and when they were apart, they would write these to each other. Whoever acts for his Hereafter, Allah Almighty suffices him for his worldly affairs. Whoever rectifies his relationship between himself and his Lord, Allah Almighty suffices him against the people. Whoever rectifies his private life, Allah Almighty rectifies his public life.
