Hadith 37557
٣٧٥٥٧ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير قال: أخبرنا هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن عبد اللَّه بن الزبير (قال) (١): ﴿خُذِ الْعَفْوَ﴾ [الأعراف: ١٩٩] قال: ما مر به من أخلاق الناس، وأيم اللَّه لآخذن به فيهم ما (صحبتهم) (٢) (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: { خُذِ الْعَفْوَ } He (may Allah be pleased with him) was commanded only regarding the morals of the people. And by Allah! As long as I remain among the people, I will also act upon this.
