Hadith 37551
٣٧٥٥١ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن زياد بن مخراق عن أبي إياس عن أبي (كنانة) (١) عن أبي موسى الأشعري أنه قال: (إن) (٢) هذا القرآن ⦗٤٣٢⦘ (كائن) (٣) لكم أجرا، وكائن لكم ذكرا، وكائن (عليكم) (٤) وزرا، فاتبعوا القرآن ولا يتبعكم، فإنه من يتبع القرآن يهبط به (٥) رياض الجنة، ومن يتبعه القرآن يزخ في قفاه فيقذفه في جهنم (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Verily, this Qur'an will be a reward for you and a reminder for you. And it will be a burden upon you. So follow the Qur'an and do not make the Qur'an follow you. Because whoever follows the Qur'an, it will lead him to the gardens of Paradise, and whoever makes the Qur'an follow him, it will seize him by the back of his neck and throw him into Hell.
