كلام ابن عباس ﵁Sayings of Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه
Hadith 37501
٣٧٥٠١ - حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس في قوله: ﴿الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ﴾ [الناس: ٤] قال: الشيطان جاثم على قلب بن آدم، فإذا سها وغفل وسوس، وإذا ذكر اللَّه خنس (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding the Divine command { الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ }, he said: Satan sits upon the heart of the son of Adam; so when a person forgets and becomes heedless, Satan whispers (evil) into him, and when the person remembers Allah, he withdraws.
